AICDP has constantly worked for the betterment of the credit profession since its launch in 2014.  Over the past 4 years, different teams of people have come on board to help assist in shaping and moulding the developments of the organisation. With this in mind, there are a few changes to the AICDP team that we thought you should be aware of.

Ian Chambers will be standing down as CEO and Chris Snelson will be taking over this role with immediate effect.

Ian has been instrumental in helping to develop AICDP both in the UK and Europe and we are forever grateful for what he has brought in terms of structure and procedures at a crucial time in the development of the organisation.

Ian’s drive and determination has seen him a champion and launch the AICDP in-house webinar programme, the next phase of our Dynamics Education Programme and the formation of AICDP groups in both Amsterdam and Oslo.

Bill Dunlop added, “Both myself and the AICDP Executive Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank Ian for his contribution over the past few years and we wish him well as he embarks on his travels.”

Chris Snelson, from VF Corporation, will be stepping up to the role of CEO.  Chris brings with him a wealth of knowledge as a top International credit practitioner and currently manages one of the largest international credit & risk management teams based in the UK.

Chris is one of the foremost experts in risk management development and has been a supporter and contributor to AICDP since its launch in 2014.

In recent months, Chris has developed and launched the UK Country Group and has organised successful events in Nottingham, Manchester and London.

Bill added “We wish Chris every success as he embarks on his new journey with AICDP.  We value his support, enthusiasm and knowledge and know that he will help drive AICPD further in what we are trying to achieve.”
